It worked for me 4 months ago. Used my wife's original Iphone for a month, switched to the 3GS, this last week switched to the Inspire. went from unilimited for IPhone to unlimited 4g. My son is using the original Iphone now and I will be giving him the 3gs next week to do the same thing. Their flaw is our gain. The scales are already tipped in their faver.
 
When the Inspire came out, i signed up for the 2G/month plan. You're saying i can ditch that and switch in this one instead?

Nope. I've never gotten a notice of any kind. I frequent two cities that are near each other. Where I am now (and the majority of the time), I get on average a little more than around 1 mbps. In the other nearby city, I get around 2 mbps.
