Post your Droid screens!

I searched this thread and found no mention of the app DROCAP2. Here's an FYI on how I capture any screen ...

Get DROCAP2 and BUTTON SHORTCUT from the marketplace. They're free.

You'll need to be rooted to use DROCAP2.

Set BUTTON SHORTCUT to run DROCAP2.

Now whenever you have a screen you wish to copy just press the camera button to activate DROCAP2. Set a short timeout like 5 seconds and then cancel back to the screen you want copied.

Home++ has a screenshot feature that doesn't require root access.

My humble screen...

A bit big, sorry. Using GDE with the hero theme. I tried home++, but I couldn't get used to the layout. And I love the application dock that comes with GDE.

Whoa dude! What is that music widget with the album art? And what is that IM or SMS widget with the conversation displayed? AND what is that calendar widget? I assume its pure but is it skinned?

Some sharp looking screens in this thread. For all of you using GDE, is there a way to remove the notification bar(like in Home++) or does anyone know if this feature will be added in the future?

How do you get the background image to scroll without the seams with five screens? I thought maybe changing the res, but it looks like above that it just "scrolls less" so to speak? I am using Home ++ too and just chaned by to static, but would like it to scroll still...

**nevermind, it does have a seam.

Preferences --> Screen Preferences --> Uncheck Wallpaper Scroll

I believe that is how I did it.

This is Locale "At Work"
This is Locale "At Home"
This is Locale "Default"
And that's it. :D

coudlnt help but notice the pictures of kids in the first one, now assuming those are you kids don't you think it is weird for a parent to have background pictures like that. ha. and for local "at work" that sure does seem like an odd thing to bring to work. ha

hey brett, i downloaded that sms unread count and love it. you know if they got an app just like it for gmail?

There is one that cost .99 i think, but it has poor ratings. No luck yet with reliable or free ones. :(

Ill look into it, Im starting to dev so I might try that out.

I don't know if there's another thread or not, but I couldn't leave this one with none so here's one of mine :)

Here's a link for a thread full of all sorts of good things, including a link for instructions for screen shots. Also some of the homescreen replacement apps like dxtop have an option to capture home screens...but it doesn't allow you to capture screens in other apps.

How did you get that weather HTC widget??

Here's a picture with all 5 of my home screens. Using Home++ with CalWidget, Beautiful Smaller Home, Nat. Geo. picture widgets. Just switched away from GDE and I'm very happy with Home++ so far.

So apparently you can't upload files to anything on the Droid? I know I could do this from my computer, but I would like a way to upload the screenshot I took on my phone and post it on the forums that way.
