What's the calendar widget you're using there j800r?
ALso, is that Ad BLock Plus you're running? Have you tried AdAway? I tried ABP but I think an app runs in the background all the time, with AdAway it just alters your hosts file. It works great - blocks ads on the internet and in apps without running in the background (although I ususally buy ad-free versions anyway).

Pure Grid Calendar. Comes at a price but def worth it. I'm also using a custom theme now which changes things up a little.
I was using ABP but removed it cause it occasionally interfered with network connection. Not really fussed about an alternative for now.

Activating rotation on the home screen makes the phone more pleasant to use.
I strongly advise anyone that uses the (voice talk svoice) to disable it and install this app instead.
