Post Your Last Purchase

I bought this to prevent another empty trailer being taken, as what happened to me on Friday.

So the other day my third cooler I had bought in the last 8 months broke down, faulty 12 volt plug. It has a permanently attached power cord. So I figured I could change the fuse in the plug in part and see if it would work.
So I stop at flying J truck stop in Oregon to see if I can locate the fuse I need. I couldn't. So I decided to grab a bag of ice I have lunch meat I don't want to go bad, I figured I would finish it off and just stop buying anything that requires a cooler.
However as I am walking through the store I spotted this item. I buy it and take it to the truck to see if it will work on another cooler I bought and had not throwing out (praise God)
I attached the cord to the cooler , plug it and Houston we have lift off:D:thumbsupdroid:
You know what I did next ???
I walked right back into the store and bought another one

So I went and got milk, as I was standing in the store, I started looking around, which lead me with an urge to buy other stuff:cashdroid:
I saw drinks and thought might as well grab one for the road
But then I told my self no! You have at least a dozen drinks on the truck already :thumbsupdroid:
So no more drinks
I need snacks
No you don't:thumbsdowndroid:
Every time I saw something I might want I reminded myself I already had it on the truck or really didn't need it;)

When we went last went grocery shopping, every time we came to an item we needed, the Mrs. said "maybe we should by two". I accused her (playfully) of hoarding, but when you think about it, that's how runs on toilet paper get started.

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses to mow with to compliment my new glasses. The price was right but I've heard pros and cons about ordering glasses online. I'll report back once they are received on the quality and value. Basically speaking, they don't have to be stellar. I don't want to subject my new glasses to the rigors of mowing and weed eating. It only takes a grain of sand to ruin a pair of glasses. I'm willing to sacrifice a cheap pair if they aren't so cheap they can't be worn. We shall see...

I have been searching for hand sanitizer for weeks now, found this yesterday. They had this one and another one that came in one those mini bottles of liqueur. I was going to get two of the one I bought, but then decided no, because I am sure other drivers probably need it too.
Then I noticed a sign saying I could buy only one of each item on the table so technically I could have bought the little liqueur bottle hand sanitizer, but I didn't think that was a wise idea

Two hats I bought. The hat to the right ,(the one with the cowboy person I bought last year in White's truck stop in West Virginia. It's a very cool place, and has pretty much everything a driver needs. I got laundry done, got a hair cut, had lunch and even watched a movie:D
The second hat the one with the TTT on it I got yesterday.
The difference between is the price
The hat I got from White's truck stop I paid $30 for , the one with the three T's I paid $18 for.
Next time I am rolling through Tuscon I plan to get another one. Actually there were I think two more I wanted and could have gotten all three yesterday, but now it's gives me a reason to stop in (if time permits):thumbsupdroid:

I got a new phone cradle for my Note 10+ today from Amazon. It replaces the one I bought the first of the year from Verizon. It was falling apart and only four months old. Not only is this new cradle made much better (heavier duty) than my old one but it is also a fast charging port. It's not often that I travel long enough to need a charge but it will be very handy in those times. To top it off, it was cheaper than the Verizon model. I mounted the charger cradle in the same spot the old was mounted and it came with a cigarette lighter / accessory plug and wire to for the fast charging feature. So far I'm impressed with the Choetech T521-S cradle.
