Post Your Last Purchase

Actually, my LAST purchase was for Weathertech floor mats for it... but I bought it today :)

Oh, no! A scammer? I hate that for you! :(

yeah, my Stepson (ex now) convinced me that he had this "can't fail pie in the sky scheme" to make my money roll over and treble.... promises, promises, and slowly, but surely, little bitty bits at a time, I kept thinking "well, this will get us past this latest debacle, then it will all clear up and go"

well, it didn't and the dumb-ass sold my house, took the money and put it in his own checking account.
The FBI gave him 3 hots and a cot for a good long while ( I had moved to a different state, which made it a cross the state lines offense )... meanwhile, $600,000 in the 457k had disappeared. needless to say, my brains were well soaked in this Sociopath's schemes.....

took a Phd Psychiatrist almost 3 years to get me over that, and he told me that I was just a prime target for a typical sociopath's schemes... I have since heard oh, so many similar stories.... folks in their '70s and '80s talked into letting someone manage their money for them, and it all disappears....

My only saving grace is that my employer was civil government and I have a defined retirement plan...
the super downside, is my kids were to inherit a good sum of money before I passed on, I was going to start handing it out each Christmas in chunks so the IRS didn't get involved... sigh!

Went a little crazy yesterday. I need to stay out of Home Depot . They had a nice sale going on and I thought these would come in handy both around the house and on weekend camp outs. Battery powered lantern, and plug in or battery fan and stereo. Radio is pretty cool, has Bluetooth, Aux and AM/FM :D.

Bahahahah!! I Love using Ryobi also, just as durable as DeWalt but 1/3 the price! Plus the built in magnet to hold the screws.. Those 3 are useful on a construction site.. [emoji41]

Yea the durability is what I like. The batteries last a long time, have good torque and that stereo feels like you could use it in a war zone. Perfect for camping or for getting kicked around in the shop. ;)

And you'll be turning those dollars into rubber dust before you know it. ;)
I don't auto-x or track my cars ('15 WRX among them) so I go for UHP all-seasons. Not as sticky as the all-out summer tires but not too far behind and fine for street use, plus less noise/better ride/longer wear and of course no changing tires for the cold weather.

Fortunately these will be autocross-only tires... but that means they probably won't last much longer than 500 miles or so. ;)

UHP All Seasons on the daily wheels for sure. :thumbsupdroid:
