was using this and the chain broke

CS-400_callouts.jpg

so, I had to spend $20.87 to get a new chain... :(

why should it break now? it is only 4 years old? and it never had to work hard, just keep the 6 acres here pruned up. :)

sigh!
dropped another $475 bux today, had to get a replacement axle for my motorcycle's Tag Along trailer, 3 new wheels and tires, and all new LED lights, as the old ones are very dim filament type bulbs.

Safety to me is more important than a little money.
the old axle was chinese junk and no standard parts on it, so it had to be ditched, now have a USA made Custom axle that precisely fits the trailer and has 5 bolt hubs, grease zerks in the end of the spindles.
The new 5.70x8 tires are Speed Rated and twice as much flat tread on the ground, compared to the old ones.

You'll like those LEDs.. Most motorcycle charging issues Str8 up disappear after changing all incandescent to LED. Good Job!
Wait. I've had those (I think).. My sister was a japanime nut and ordered quite a few of those.. I was like "Cool" (gotta love HS hijinks) and she started laughing at me. Of course I was wondering WTF and she explained to me that it wasn't gonna taste like I expected.. No images of chickens or beef (can't read Chinese). So my happy self cooked & tried to eat it. IT TASTED LIKE FISH! [emoji87] WTF they thinking?! Don't get me wrong cuz I really like fish too, but that stuff was... Not for me. [emoji28] Dog wouldn't touch it either [emoji12]

There's supposed to be beef in it, and "牛肉面" does mean "beef noodles", and this is a spicy "辣" one. Will have it later this evening. OK once in a while, but wouldn't want to live on this stuff.

Think the original ramen noodles idea was from Japan. But there's a heck of a lot of these in China of course, a staple cuisine of long distance bus and train travel. :thumbsupdroid:

Got to have a soft drink to go with the instant noodles of course.

Yes,

You would love to see the center LED light on my trailer.
the two outside brake lights are the SEMA Truck/Trailer lights that are about 3" wide by 6" tall ??
but that Razor brand SuperBright LED 18 diode strip in the middle??? ooh, it flashes 10 times and then it goes solid. :)

so, picture following my trailer. All you see running down the road is the normal running/Stop/Turn style Marine LED lights. Nothing unusual at all, traffic does not even give it a 2nd glance.

but, when I touch the brakes on the bike, that activates a 5th wire that I use solely for BRAKE lights :)

both of the SEMA LEDS suddenly appear above the Marine running lights.
The center 18" wide by 18 diode LEDs start to flash, and they are super bright/expensive....

that adds a lot of extra dimensions to the "apparent size" of that trailer...

In every instance, traffic has backed off and given me more room.....
Contrary to running up on my ass if the trailer is not with me...
.

I think with both the number and close proximity of lights on the rear of motorcycles that having the brake light flash or flutter when initially pressed is a good thing.

I got my first Amazon Affiliate gift card, so ordered a NATO strap to try out on my Huatch.

I dig it! It's a pretty high quality strap (particularly for $10 shipped), and it's quite comfortable. In typical NATO strap style, it has the main strip of nylon which passes through the springbars and behind the back of the watch. That strap then passes through the rings attached to another shorter nylon flap to keep the watch from sliding around. It's a very secure design. :thumbsupdroid:

It naturally prevents the use of the Huawei Watch's heartbeat sensor, which I'm absolutely okay with.

Somehow, I hadn't considered how it would also impact charging, since those pins are on the back. It doesn't take too much effort to slide the strap back through and create a gap between the strap and the back of the watch for the charging puck to fit in, but it's not really an elegant solution.

Still, I like the strap enough that I'll put up with that additional nightly hassle - for now, at least.

Anyone else looking for a similar band for a smartwatch may want to consider one of the two-piece varieties.

After my expensive Logitech wireless mouse started malfunctioning, I found this relatively cheap one made by Polaroid. A six button wireless mouse for £12. Seems like they are branching out into other consumer electronics.
