I'm going to build me a Dalek.

"Oats Burger Series" is apparently referring to the bun.

KFC launched a healthy and delicious oat-based bun on several of its signature burgers. Ivie was hired to design burger packaging that would broadcast this New Oats Burger Series to customers. The resulting packaging features a photo of fresh oats on a clean white background with a signature bold color band for bilingual product identification. To ease operations, perforated push tabs were added to the pack to easily distinguish the specific type of burger

Because in China we expect to have french fries with our burgers. Don't think KFC does potato wedges here.

BTW not quite sure what the "Bafen Burger" is about, probably not the painkillers anyway, i.e. KFC burgers are not made with analgesics.

Yesterday, I stopped in at Panera Bread. A fast food restaurant that I have never, ever, been inside of before.

Was surprised at some very good food offerings.
I got a bowl of tomato soup that was very tasty, and a Tuna Salad sandwich.....
that sandwich was so big, I brought half of it home, and had it for lunch today.

Nice! I'm a bit of a countermeasures nut. :D

The 9500ix is supposed to be very very good.

Me, I'm still a V1 guy - I can't live without those arrows. ;)

I have a V1 that I purchased when it first came out in the '70s
I imagine that Lidar would bust my chops pretty good if I tried to depend on it too heavily today.

I love the way that thing can pick up a super weak signal, miles and miles away, I would get a weak blip and that arrow told me where it was coming from. Kick off the cruise and just let 'er coast back down to legal speeds.... :) nothing to be in a hurry about....

I used to live on the highways having to cover 500+ miles a day, and still get in 4 to 6 hours of 'work time' at the job sites. I took care of Microwave towers and equipment, and when something went down, everything is down at once..... so, us running 25+ was a common thing in the wild west of West Texas and New Mexico.... fortunately out there, the terrain is level enough the V1 was a good tattle tale for us.

Camping to me is staying in a hotel with less than 4 stars in its rating. ;)

Well remember, I bought a portable air conditioner on sale in the spring, for just such an occasion. This one will be as close to glamping as I ever get. We're staying at a resort so there's a pool and each camping site has water and electric. We'll have a nice tent, huge air mattress, my Bluetooth boom box, fans, A/C the screen house ... yea roughing it. o_O

Normally I prefer to get away and run off a solar panel and carry in my water, but I always "car camp" now a days. I used to be all hard core and do trips to the BWCA and canoe and portage and no lights no phones no motor cars. I am not that young anymore. I'd break my fool neck trying to carry a weeks worth of stuff and a canoe 5 yards, much less the miles we hiked back then.

I have a V1 but haven't used it in years, partly because of it being a distraction and also because I got a couple of tickets anyway (you do still have to pay attention, a detector can't help you with pacing). And there's a lot of laser around here which really limits its effectiveness.
I generally drive with the traffic and avoid the left lane especially when traffic is light.
And Panera is actually pretty good, with careful menu choices it's almost healthy. ;)
They are in the process of phasing out a bunch of additives and artificial stuff.

Technically the last purchase I made was frozen margaritas at the show (hey it was HOT) but here is Paul Simon Live at Starlight Amphitheater in KC, MO on Saturday June 11th. The show was amazing, he sounded incredible. The band was flawless. Dude is 74 and he sounds just like when he was 24.
