My wife (quite out of the blue) announced that she'd like to go fishing (and start fishing again as a regular past time). Color me shocked. We've never fished together, she has been in the boat when I was fishing, but that's about it. She used to fish all the time with her dad and brothers but when he passed away she just let all her stuff and his be picked over and distributed to the family. So We went out during the lovely Memorial Day sales and got her a couple poles and reels, one medium one light, a tackle box, some hooks, weights and bobbers and a couple lures. Since we were out anyway (and I haven't had a new pole in 20+ years) I grabbed a nice Bass Pro model rod and a nice baitcaster reel. They make some very attractive equipment these days. Quite different from the old days where you had the option of brown, black, white ... heck maybe that's it. Anyway, fun stuff.

Well I played with this tv for a while,Then I realized I was messing with it to much and decided to see if I could find another tv on Craigslist.
So I found and like this one and I like it better,Which I paid $50.00 for it.

And I gave the Sony to my roommate for his bedroom and is an upgrade from the Sanyo 24" LCD tv I gave him 4 years ago.He really likes the Sony I gave him.

I found out this tv has a bad speaker,But a great picture.
So I was looking at Sound Bars and they are expensive,And I decided to look at PC Speakers and found this setup,Which sounds great compared to the tv speakers.Plus I can always use this on my computer to.

I bought a trip to the vet for Peggy Sue. She smashed her mouth badly because she decided to strike at Raphael because 10 years later she doesn't like dogs walking by her tank I guess. She slammed into the glass and got all messed up. I waited a few days but it didn't get better so off we went. She'll be fine, just a ton of swelling so she got an injection to help that. Stupid snake!

Probably just in a bad mood (do snakes get moody?) Anyway hope she recovers.

Oh man, good thing she'll be ok. my friend had tons of snakes and the only incident I've heard of was when my friends little brother went to feed it and it jumped at him and bit his arm.

1 of these and 2 extra batteries (paid $149 for the combo) https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-24-...-Cordless-Combo-Kit-with-Soft-Case/1000061645 Have to rebuild my deck (soon). Figured these would be adequate for the job.

Ended up purchasing the matching 6 1/2" circular saw. Made it an early Father's day present to myself, plus came in very handy for rebuilding my deck. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-24-...ular-Saw-with-Brake-Bare-Tool-Only/1000061649

13 2" x6" x 8' joists.
18 5/4" x 6" x 16' decking boards.
2 2" x 6" x 16' frame boards
Various screws and nails.
3 6 step stair stringers.

Edit: the stair stringers were not what I needed and would not have met code since made from 2" x 10" material. So 3 2" x 12" x10' ground contact approved boards now cut to 8 step stringers instead. Why is wood so damn expensive?
