How can I make the white strip black where the time and other notification icons displays?

Root your phone and install one of many custom ROMS. Virtually all of them have black notification bars (in keeping with the theme that AMOLED uses less power on a black background)

Are those text widgets? (Battery and time) or part of the custom ROM?

Text widgets--Battstat for the battery percentage, and Tajm for the time. You'll find 'em on the market. About the only thing that's part of a custom ROM on my homescreen is the vertical power control widget.

Went back to 2.11.3 on Enom's just so I could use Pendo's super circle. Also toying around a bit with GOTO.

- how do you get those big icons?
- which messaging widget is it?
- which clock widgets and weather widgets are you using?
- what exactly does quickdesk do?
- what is the big sticky note widget?
