If you have the extra money then go with the desire or anything with a higher resolution screen. its not that bad bust most games dont work on QVGA.
my battery last about day and half on full charge. 2.2 seams to have improved battery life for me. The processor is fine you can overclock with custom rom very stable and safe to 600MHz and beyond i will when root is available for 2.2.
all in all it a very good phone and to be honest i couldn't care less about what screen resolution it has i dont play games and everything looks fine to me i would say its a upgrade from my Nokia 6500 Slide dont you think
scores 9/10 for me as its one of the best selling phones of 2010
would buy a desire but since thats already outdated i chose this until i can save up some money for a more powerful beast im going to wait because dual core and wuad core cpu's are coming to phones next year
Re the battery life - mine lasts 2 days no probs. That's with syncing/wifi/bluetooth all switched off until I need them. Then I switch them on and off again once I'm done, amazing the difference it makes to the battery life.
Screen is more than adequate for calls/texts/internet/games etc. I've downloaded Kindle and even read books on it when stuck on public transport.
This is a cracking phone, even has a 5mp camera with flash and autofocus, what more do you want
