I like my spam fried with some eggs in toasted sesame seed bread. I can't eat spam right out of the can without frying it first (yuk indeed).

Honestly, it's not that bad in a pinch. A little slice of spam and some cheese with cracker is not a meal but not bad for a quick snack. Do I eat it often.... no. Have I eaten it in the last decade.. no.

This stuff I ate a LOT too while out at sea in the Pacific somewhere. I'd poke a small hole on top (to vent it so it wouldn't explode) and set the can on a steam valve and in 20 minutes it was hot.

Oh my goodness...I LOVED Armour's corned beef hash--though I never heated it up in its can.

I hadn't thought about it in eons...
