Help "Power Adapter Not Completible"??

I've just got my phone back off the repair company (Lloyds TSB Insurance).

When I plugged it in I got this message: "power connector not compatible to avoid damaging your phone please disconnect it now".

I've tried switching the plug and the lead and I still get the same message.

I also now get the message even though the phone isn't connected at all!!

What is wrong with it/anything I can do?

You didn't get happen to use a higher amperage power supply? Some of the "bricks" shipped with tablets may trigger battery lprotection. We have a car charger with 2 usb ports, one a high amp. My EVO sometimes has a problem with the it, though not the standard 1 amp port.
