Power App

[sdomina]

Hello,
New to the Android world. Bot ONE thing I would like to find is an app that lets you turn off the phone in one push of the button; not hitting the power button (which you gotta have tiny fingers to use) and then wait for the little box to come up and ask you what you wanna do again.
Simple is what is should be: press once and SHAZAM! it turns off.

Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I can be reached faster at sdomina@cableone.net.

Thanks, in advance..

Steve

You can do it, but you have to be rooted.

Welcome to the Android Forums!

In the Android Market you will find third party apps like "Quick Shutdown"...

As Steven mentioned, however, you'll need to root your phone in order to use this app.
