Help Power Button Alternative?

Hi All,
I need some help? I have a Droid X unrooted, running ginerbread update and Go Launcher EX. I wanted to know, is there a way to power up the phone without the power button? Not wake it up, but power it up after shutting it down completely. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Try plugging power (or usb) into the usb jack.

I've tried it and it does work, not when plugged into the phone via the outlet, but it does work when the charger is plugged into my pc, and then to the phone. Thanks for your help and the quick reply. I was hoping that there was a sequence of other button presses that would do the trick, it looks like the charger is the only way to go.
