Root Power Button Doesn't Turn Phone Off...?

Rooted a couple of days ago and now power button doesn't turn the phone off. Have to remove case and back cover and pull battery to shut it off. Was having the same issue when Juice Defender (free version) was installed (which is now uninstalled), but now it's doing it again. I can hold the button in for anywhere from a couple of seconds to 10 or even 15 seconds and all it does is turn off the screen. I'm ready to unroot it...:confused:


Update...I think I got it fixed.....
 
Well, it's back to not turning off with the power button and NOW the camera button works when, and IF, it wants to. This is getting a bit much...:mad: Anyone else having these issues?
 
I haven't had any problems with my phone, other that moving icons.
Is it posible that you uninstalled somthing or may even installed an app that might have changed the keys or somthing like such?
 
I'm not sure exactly what I did...lol. I deleted all the files associated with the root and somehow got it unrooted, but don't ask me how I did it. :confused: Then I rerooted it and it was fine, for a brief period of time. It'll do it at different times, sometimes right after being taken off the charger, sometimes not, so I can't really pinpoint times that it does it consistently.

Update: No, no apps were installed that would change the keys, I do know that much for sure.

Also, no one has come on to tell me how to PROPERLY unroot the phone...I've only seen someone say to remove the su file, but that's what I've done, I think...anyhow, got it unrooted and then again rooted it and no, I don't think that rooting has anything to do with it, either...dunno what to do.....
 
I don't now how to un-root it other than what was said... but you can unroot and return it for a new one if you still can... or wait for intrepd or someone to make the ODIN files for us, should be soon, I beleave they are working it.
