Hey guys just got the note2 today. I've noticed my power button does not protrude out as much as the volume rocker..power button seems more recessed in (more flush with the side). . Is this normal? Thks

you can buy the Aluminum Home Button from Spigen SGP. I think it's nice!

I think OP said power button not Home button. Make sure your power button works if it is at a lower position. My niece's Note II has the same thing, and it stopped working about 2 weeks. I downloaded a Power Button app for her to turn her screen off without using the physical button. It works for 2 months, but last night her Note II started to not getting calls. So without thinking, I told her to pull the battery and reset it. She did... but without the actually power button, she can't turn it back on.

The good news is that the Note II will function for 2 months without actually doing any reboot! :p Now I have to call Samsung to get it fix on warranty. Anyone knows how long something like that would take? 1 week? 2 week?

I remember reading about people sending the Nexus S 4G to Samsung and it took about 3 weeks. I'd check with her carrier about replacement.

I did already but they will only replace it if it was under 2 weeks. After that they will charge for it.

The phone is back! It was sent to the Samsung warranty service in Texas. They email us a 2-days UPS shipping label to send the phone to them. They quoted 2 to 4 weeks for the repair, but it only took about 1 week. They replaced the power button, and somehow also the LCD screen (even though there was nothing wrong with the screen unless it was broken during shipping.) I think the service time is really great.
