Help Power button no longer works. Galaxy 2 i777

Been fine for awhilr but after restart power button wont work. How can I restore or do anything without a power button in recovery ......any idea I have adb working

I am having the same problem, how did you sort out yours?

I believe when in recovery mode, you're supposed to press the "home" button to accept options not the power button

Changed recovery to a cwmt recovery thru adb and installed widget locker to wake phone with volume rocker and installed the quick boot app for when I need to restart/power off or whatever
