Hi my HTC desire has developed a bit of an issue with the power button over past week.
I am rooted, using ClockworkMod Rom and am on virgin mobile.
Power button doesn't seem to work, won't allow me to wake screen or lock phone or bring up power options when I press it. However it wakes screen randomly even when I am not touching the phone plus when I am using the phone the phone options pop. This means it is draining my battery dramatically as screen is randomly waking in my pocket.
So thinking that power button is stuck or something?
Is there a way I can disable power button shortcuts?
Also think i am will be covered by virgin mobile's 12 months warrenty as I have only had it since May 2010 but do I need to un-root it before returning it? If so how do I do it?
