Root Power button will not bring up a screen sometimes

Hey everyone, I'm running A Triumph with CM7. It has been working great for me, but i have noticed that sometimes when i press the power button to get to the lock screen, all i see is the front buttons light up and maybe the screen backlight. The screen times out after about 5 seconds and no lockscreen comes up.

This happens about 20% of the time. It's no big deal at all, but i was just wondering if anyone else has seen this happen with their MT? It only started this about 2 weeks ago.

happened to me right outta the box, i just bundle it in with hardware issues like the back button not working sometimes

usually for me, if i see the soft keys are lit and the screen doesn't come on, multi pressing the power button tends to cause it to show up
