Power Button

Hello all I have read in mutiple threads where people have trouble with the power botton and worry about its over use. I thought I would point to some apps to help you out. The first one is called "screen off and lock" it lets you lock the screen either by long pressing the search button or by a option in the notification drop down. So you can use that app to lock your screen . I have been using this and it works well.
And you can use a lock screen replacement app to let you use the volume keys to wake up the phone. The one I use alot and highly highly recommend is Widget Locker, yes it cost money but it is very customizabe and very user friendly. The other is MagicLocker it is nice and has some built in functionality and it has some decent themes oh and its free.

Good post.
I've been using "screen off and lock " for a couple of months now and I really like it. As an added bonus, it has the old tube tv off animation which is very cool.

I like the magiclocker free one, but don't like it...
it cancels out the lock pattern or pin unlock I have set...I guess I liked it for 5 mins...still kinda cool though...
