The power button on my Esteem quit working correctly. When I hold the button down to reboot, power off...etc. It just reboots my phone and the menu screen does not appear. I searched the forum with no similar issues. Anyone have an idea what happened?

Yes if you hold down the power button for i believe 10 seconds it hard reboots the device. Theme is probably causing this TBH. restore back up to see if the problem persists and then try reinstalling them,if all is good afyer restore then figure problem out within theme

I'm going to restore my backup and see what it does. I used this same theme before and it worked fine...hmm. I searched within this forum and didn't see any related issues.

Guess that might have been the issue. It now works again.

Its because the framework apk is edited for the power menu and you're probably missing the edited framework-res.jar and androidpolicy.jar What rom are you on?

This is the same problem from when we first got cwm working, aplus made a stock theme, but it didn't have anything for the reboot and recovery power menu options and it caused reboots when you held down the power button

If we talking about the theme for the zvd . Ooooo yes it is a problem with a few of them you cant open the galley ....... Yes tried to reset app and tryed to put the stock app back it dont open ....... I would have to say all i seen was a black screen. And thought that was the theme. But they work with everything else i am loving this phone candy o yes it got me some good candy if you know what i mean... The gallery works in that one

had an issue with min where it was sticking - cleaned it out around the edges with a little alcohol and all was good ... the way it's designed it seems prone to stick with being just mildly dirty - probably not related to your issue at all, but just thought i would share.
