Help power-cycling new phone?

I just got my phone the other day - should I be power-cycling it? if so, how do i do that?

Uh, no. No reason to restart the phone unless you want to or something is screwy. And just so ya know, power cycling is nothing more than turning it off. It's not like a cable box that's on even when it's off.

Now if the phone locks up and doesn't respond to the power button, then you need to pull the battery out.
