Help power off issue

hi my misses had this phone for 2 days and we cant turn the thing off everytime i press power off it come's straight back on!any ideas please

Try holding the power button until it switches off. If that doesn't work try removing the battery for a couple of minutes.

You need to press button untill phone options come up then press section that says power off.

I think they've tried that, but the phone auto reboots after its turned off.

yes done all that.not sure why but just reboots everytime

Its probably worth taking it back and get it replaced. You shouldn't have any problems getting another one as a brand new phone really shouldn't do that.

Might be worth trying a soft reset.
If that fails, try giving it a hard reset.
