Can't tell if this is an android or Note 3 specific issue. I upgraded from an old Samsung Charge so the operating system on that was much older. What I don't like and can't find a setting for is this: On the Charge when you long pressed the power button and chose "Power Off" the phone shut off.
On my new Note when you do that you are forced to answer another popup that telling you the device will shut down. Reminds me of the old Windows computers where you would choose to shut off the computer and would have to answer another one or two popups asking things like "Are you sure?" before it would actually turn off.
Is there a setting I am not finding so that by long pressing the power button and choosing "Power Off", the phone will actually turn off at that point rather than telling you that by choosing "Power Off" you are turning the phone off and then requiring you to answer "OK" to acknowledge and get the phone to power off?
