Help Power on/off

I just got a note II, I noticed that when I press the power on/off button it turns off immediately,but takes a full 2 seconds to turn on again. Is it me or is that a little slow? I've had a few android phones and they would turn on/off immediately when the power button is pressed. Any thoughts?

Mine's exactly the same. I always assumed that (like me) everyone uses the home button to wake the phone. It's no quicker than using the power button though.

think thats normal, the 2 second delay might be due to waiting to see if your going to 'long' press the power button

I guess it's a normal thing for the note 2, just have to deal with it.
