Help Power Profiles?

Just picked on a Prime today and so far I'm loving it, lovely screen, very thin and the build quality is outstanding.

But just wondering how these power profiles work, is performance the equivalent to normal? As in on demand performance you find on every other phone or tablet or would balanced be that setting??

Performance is just as it is, more like the performance governor if you're familiar to setcpu. Frequencies are ramped up but battery life will decrease. Balanced is on-demand governor, ramps up the frequencies when it needs to. Battery life will good.
