power/sleep button

The power button is kind of flush with the top of the phone, doesn't stick out much, and is kinda hard to push in, especially with a case on the phone.

Anyone else notice this? Is it supposed to be flush, or is it supposed to stick up.

Mine is fairly flush. It isn't as easy to locate without looking as other phones, but I seem to be getting used to it.

I think it is designed right. I think that I saw someplace they made it on the curve like that so when you place it in something it will not press the button. But I don't think that they thought about what if I just want to power my phone on quickly or off quickly. You have to find the button. I guess we get one benefit at the cost of another on this button. But you can tell it's up on the curve of the device to protect it from an accidental power on, well that's my opinion, I have no hard proof this is what they did it just appears that way to me. :D

I'm comparing it to my iphone4, which protrudes from the top, making it very easy to located and push, especially in a case.

Coming from a Nexus One, I'm a little worried about pressing the power button so much. I hope this isn't an issue anywhere else.
