Power widget?

With the GN2 I was able to set a widget specifically for volume control. The closest I'm able to find is a 'settings' shortcut, which really sucks, because I still have to navigate to 'sounds' -> 'volume'. It might sound nit-picky, but every night I turn my notification sound off so I don't hear it going off with every email I get. Then turn it back on every morning. I still need to hear any calls during the night that I might get.

Am I just missing it? I really hope that I'm dumb and they didn't take away the ability to set a shortcut just for volume adjustment.

A search for "Volume Widget" on Play Store revealed 54 results including "Slider Widget" which works fine.

I use Audio Manager, it allows you to lock the volume and control all volume settings. Don't want to make the mistake of picking up the phone and accidentally hitting the volume up key when in a meeting. Most of the ones I have tried don't have the option of locking the volume.

Thanks for the app suggestions everyone. I'll have to go that route I guess. I just really like the feature on the GN2 that took me directly to the volume settings. I'll check out the apps you suggested. I'm old, set in my ways
