Honestly it's a waste of time and money. I won't win it and if I did I would seriously freak out. Not in a good way. I mean..... wth would I do with that much dough? I'm grateful for everything I have now.

You've got to be in it, to win it.
I haven't bought a lottery ticket in 10 years.
I've never played. I've never purchased a scratch ticket either. My wife will buy some however. I hope she keeps me around if she hits the big one.

That is an unreal amount of money. Over here in Euro land we get excited when a jackpot approaches 100 million. The biggest EuroMillions jackpot win was £161 million.

In fact the regular UK lottery reached it's maximum amount of rollovers last night. It had to be won (all six numbers first obviously, then five + bonus ball and down). As it happens two tickets got all six numbers and landed themselves just over £33million each tax free. (approx $48million). Not too shabby. But not $1.3billion dollars which is insane. You could give 1300 people a life changing $1million with that.
Oh. You HAVE to roll your winnings into more tickets. Or at least part of them, you can't just walk away with a cup of coffee for a (free?) chance at 1.3 BILLION.I WON !!! I doubled my money getting one correct number. Should I buy another one and come out even, or splurge on a fancy coffee?
I got the powerball on my ticket so am going to re-invest that, because why not?

so, if Mark Zuckerberg (or someone like that with deep pockets) wanted too... he could invest $292 million and purchase all combinations.
and guarantee a win!!!!! for 1300 million.

I'm wondering where the multi-millionaires are, not buying every single numerical combination. If the odds are 1:292,000,000, just buy $292 Million in tickets and WIN it. Even if you have to split it with some other lucky soul, you'll still double your money.
Problem is, buying tickets fast enough for Wednesday's draw will be tricky. We only have 3 days, and my poor overworked, underpaid clerk would have to scan 1,162 ticket numbers a SECOND to have them all run before the draw. But you know what? That's a sacrifice I'M willing to make.
Anybody want to loan me $292,000,000 USD? I'll do the legwork, standing in line at the Kangaroo mart
