Help Powercycle ever needed

Is there ever a need to power the phone off completely. I do it just as a habit but if it is not needed I will stop doing it. Thank You

I shut my phone down once a day. It actually recommends this in the manual. Computers often benefit from regular shutdown/start-ups. I shut it down once a day, usually at night, leave it off for 5 minutes, turn it on and charge it. I very rarely or never have any problems with speed, freezing, random bugs, or poor battery life. Another thing I have had good luck with is not taking the battery out. I used to remove the battery every time I noticed a bug, which would fix the bug temporarily but it would come back. I've been shutting my phone down once a day, and have kept the battery in for over a month and the phone has been extremely stable. Maybe coincidence but I doubt it.

I check for updates every day and if I have an update for an app I know I have on a screen, I'll reboot. I don't know that everyone benefits from a daily reboot, but I would think at least a couple times a week would help.

I do it at night or whenever I am going to charge my phone. I treat it like a computer and I want to give everything a refresh.

I rarely do it, and have no issues. Every now and then it reboots itself, but I don't know why it does that. Probably because I don't do it enough, LOL! No big deal, only way I even know it happened is if I look at the time since last reboot. I'm sitting at close to a week since the last one right now.

Never reboot unless I think that the DX is running slower than normal. It's been 4 days at present.
