powered up screen...but cant see what Im doing

Hello everybody! we recently Ive been trying to root my lg optimus S and i believe that I am almost there. I have installed everything correctly and was even using android cast(i think that may be wrong as I am freakin out over here lol) to see what my phone was doing while in this semi blackout mode. Well, I got a little too excited and clicked the dev box on the phone to off and now I cant turn it back on to save my arse. My computer cant/wont recognize my phone and neither will LG updater. Is there ANYWAY to get my phone back to normal or at least be able to click the dev box so i can finish the root? ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
 
android Screencast is the program I used to view what was going on on my phones screen lol just thought Id add that in there...
