We have a very basic PPTP VPN set up without encryption on one of our servers. I have dozens upon dozens of android devices, iphones, and computers, all using the VPN for the past six years. I can NOT get this Note to connect to the VPN. It keeps telling me that a firewall is blocking it, but I can connect just fine through my Xyboard (Verizon), my Xoom (Wifi), my Evo (Sprint), and an iPhone (Sprint), all in the same room. If I connect from wifi off site, it works fine. It simply doesn't like to be on Verizon's 4G network and connect to the VPN. Has anyone had any similar problems??

Perhaps you should call Verizon and ask if they are blocking the port used by your VPN. It could be that the phone companies have started to block VPN use to prevent people using their high speed network to stream torrents via encrypted tunnels. Sucks to be an Internet user these days.
Just a guess though, I don't have time to watch media anymore so I have not experienced the problem myself
