Pre-Installed AT&T apps - How to remove?

I just got the new Aria on sunday and am already annoyed with the wonderful pre-installed programs from AT&T. (navigator wont stop running!).

Does anyone know how to remove these apps? And what is the safest/easiest way?

There is no way. You can either get a task killer to kill them or just restart your phone. After that, remove them from your home screens and let them chill in your app drawer.

The only hope for removal is if someone roots the phone. Let's hope it happens!

hopefully the folks at xda will give you your freedom. I don't know if anyone is actively working on it since it's not exactly a high profile device like the Evo or Incredible, but we'll see.

If you know what apks you want out you should beable to use adb uninstall to remove them from the phone.
