I chose the 32 gig blue version.

Honestly, there was little reason to opt for 32 GB, instead of 16. But then, it's no sillier than buying a car and ponying up an extra couple of thousand dollars for the model with the more powerful engine, never mind that the standard engine's performance is already more than adequate for any reasonable purpose and that it tops out somewhere in excess of 120 mph.

And all my indulgence cost me was an extra fifty bucks.

As for preferring the blue version, well, that's purely a personal aesthetic choice. (Again, to resort to an automotive analogy, some folks like white cars, and some like blue cars. It's not as if one color is inherently better than the other.)

In case anyone's wondering, yeah, I bought a car recently. It's dark blue, and I chose not to pay extra to get it with the optional turbocharged engine.

I ordered a blue 32GB too. I also recently bought a car. A blue one. I not only opted for the turbo, but the higher HP turbo. Go big or go home.

Was tempted to get the "Pebble Blue", but glad I didn't now that all with it in-hand are saying it's a lot more purple than blue.

Ya i am glad I went with the white too. It was never really a debate for me. I am going to have a black cover, so the color doesnt matter. But, the white would look a lot better in a blue case than a blue/purple.

my debate was to get the 16gb or 32gb. I went with the 32gb. No clue if that was the best decision but oh well, its only $50 extra.

All this talk about what color to get is hilarious and pretty naive lol. Whichever color you decide, that won't be the color that you will be seeing for the next 2+ years. Your phone color will be the color of the protective case. So those who are like me and wonders why they didnt make a black one.....get a black case...wahhla...you now have a black sg3

Then the BACK of your GSIII is black, sure, but the bezel all around the screen on the front will still be white. I don't know about you, but I look at that side of my phone a lot more than the back. I didn't want a white bezel, so went with the blue. You are correct about the back, though, and I should have my black case before Verizon deems us worthy to have their version of the GSIII.

I also got 16GB white. My last three phones have been black and I feel like getting blue would be my lame attempt to try to be as close to black as possible. I think the white will be refreshing as long as it doesn't fade or get scuffed easily (hence the full body skin I'll be applying).

I'm coming from a HTC Droid Incredible and thinking of upgrading to this phone. I have a lot of issues with running out of space on this phone. However, it wasn't because the phone has only 8gb of internal storage, it's because it has very small partitions for /data (748MB) and /system (248MB).

My question is, what do you possibly gain by using 32gb over 16gb when the partitions are a fixed size that cannot be resized? It doesn't seem like you can actually utilize all of that internal storage. Do newer phones have partitions setup differently? Am I missing something?

I have the same question. Is the 16G/32G usable for apps or is it just for pics/videos/etc?

Yes, you can move apps for your storage. You can also put them on your external sd.

Definitely not regretting preordering the Pebble Blue after seeing thos pics, looks nice!

pics can be deceiving. I wish my blue looked like those pics. They were really blue and I think that would be perfect. I've had two people ask me today at work I'd my phone was purple. Sometimes it looks blueish others purple like. The back looks nothing like the pictures on droud life. At least not my phone. Front isn't too bad.

I'm still unsure if I'll jeep this color or go white. If it was really blue like the front on Droid life I wouldn't even consider switching.

Considering when I saw it only came in white and blue, and white instantly made me think iHone clone, getting blue was an easy choice. 16GB is plenty for me given that it supports up to 64GB SD cards.
