Quick answer no. Long answer, there hasn't been a offical release/price for this device. Hence you won't see pre orders until that information is out in open. Rumor has it that the 17th may be pre-order day with the 24th being launch.

At $699 I would have pre-ordered to guarantee availability.

At $799, I don't see a need to pre-order unless they sweeten the deal somehow. I just don't think they will fly off the shelves and be scarce like the droid incredible and X were.

I agree, but I don't want anything left to chance.

Agreed as well. $799+ is just too much money for some people to spend on a tablet. I for one am one that will get this even though the price is a little high. Pre-ordering seems unnecessary unless they offer a deal.

PS: Typical verizon making you buy 3G for at least a month in order to unlock wifi. Just typical.
