My thought is that 32 gb internal should easily handle the OS and apps and the SD card can handle photos, music, videos, etc.

So are people getting the 16GB version and just using a micro SD card to expand? I was thinking about getting a 128GB card and just the 16GB phone to keep the costs lower. Any reason why that is a bad idea?
Honestly no, I don't believe so.

I can't believe the Champagne trim is only available starting at 32gb. I was counting on this being only $400. You guys are able to afford the 64GB! Not sure why you're not getting a smaller one and using a microSD, that's one of the main reasons I wanted this phone.

Long time no see, AndroiDad! Welcome to the Moto X Pure Forum :)

And @swords: I set aside a little bit every month, in a special account, for a new phone. That way, when there is a phone I want, the money is ready to go. With subsidized phones going extinct, it's an easy way to get a new device every year or two... besides, I have to pay full retail so I can keep my unlimited data on Verizon ;)

Hey Chief. Yeah, I mainly lurk these days, as I have been pretty content with my G2. This has caught my eye though and is going to be mine soon.

Wow, the Nexus 6 is on sale today too. I think places are starting to clear space for all the new stuff. The N6 is $399 for the 64GB one. Definitely making me second guess which one to get.

Moto X Pure Camera FTW... Jus sayin...

I missed out on the Champagne/White Frame. I wonder how long it will be out... I am so itching to pull the trigger on this, but I keep waffling every time I put it in the cart.
