Pre orders?

I've been hearing rumors that Verizon won't do pre orders for the Gnex since they're going to push the Razr and Rezound so hard. So if they don't, will I have to order the Gnex online, or will they get shipments in so I can go to the store the day it comes out?

I just hope this so-called launch day is an "actual" launch day and not a "pre-order" launch day, like they did for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. I still remember when I walked into the Verizon Store hoping to walk out with the Tab, but ended up just ordering it.
