Newbie
So i have a samsung vibrant T-mobile (unlocked) and i have a pre paid sim card and i wanted to use the internet my phone but could't i tried all the settings i could think of and no luck, on my previous phone , the n97 i used the same sim card and it worked but why not on my vibrant??? can anyone tell me what to do??

I use a T-mobile pre-paid SIM when I go home to the states to make my calls and whatnot.

I'm not quite sure how I figured this out, but I ended up using the browser (firefox doesn't work to do it), and going to wap.t-zones.com, and I was able to purchase a 24 hour credit for unlimited data. I think its $1.49/day. I can't recall off the top of my head what options I had to select but they were pretty easy to figure out.

Its ok i found out , in wifi settings you have to touch on access point names and config it

Could you perhaps share the APN settings? I tried everything I could find, and nothing seemed to automagically just give me internet access without going through that browser process.

Currently the APN is just set to wap.voicestream.com, which it automatically picks up when I put the SIM in.

its depends on the service carrier as i am outside of the usa. so what i did was googled up my service carrier and then put apn and it worked.
Anyways my apn settings are :
Name: internet
APN: Static (just type it in) and done.
