Pre-Paid vs. Post-Paid Service Benefits?

Hey all.

I've just come across something that I never really thought of. I know a lot about pre-paid, but this stumped me when I heard it.

Do pre-paid carriers get second choice to service than post-paid/mobile hotspots?

So say you're at a football game where there is a lot of interference - would contracted Verizon phones get service before pre-paid?

In the UK, as far as i know there is no prioretisation like that. Actuall on my pre-pay, i get to tether as much as i want but aparently the peeps on cantract get thrrottled lol

Postpaid customers get full access to roaming agreements and priority data access on the network. Often much better customer service too. If network access and service quality is important to you avoid prepaid.
