precdent vs htc droid incredible

My precednet locked up on me and straight talk is having to send me another one. i have the chance to use a htc droid incredible if i unlock it. can someone anyone tell me which phone is better. the droid is my brother's. but, now my daughter's i'm about to switch her to straighttalk. but since i have the chance which is better. if i switch will the htc be more benefitcal or stay with my precent. i go online an use gps regularly. and it will be free to unlock it. i just need to know which is better and it is a htc droid incredible model adr6300 i also can't find a sim card slot does it have one? Thanks in advance.

Couldn't find the Precedent but the Prevail is basically the same phone.

On paper the HTC is a better phone with a 1000mHz Snapdragon processor. It also has a bigger screen and more RAM.

I have no idea what ROM's are available for it though. If you're going to be using these phones as stock then the HTC would probably be the better phone.

I don't think you can bring your own Verizon phone to Straight Talk, so it doesn't matter which phone is better, the Precedent is the only one of the two you can use on ST.

You're right. I was thinking of the 'Bring your own phone' program they have. I checked it out again and it's for GSM phones only (AT&T or T-mobile).
