Predators

Saw this last Saturday.

TBH, better than my original expectations. Fairly solid cast, Physical and CGI effects were not bad at all and certainly better than the AVP films (not a hard thing I suppose).

Adrian Brody was definately better than I expected - yes he is a very capable actor (looking forward to Splice when it hits the UK) but its not the role that you would normally consider him for. The story develops as you would expect, no real surprises but still fairly watchable.

Its definately a "do not engage brain" film, but thats not always a bad thing. Suspend belief and enjoy I suppose.

For me it was a solid 6/10.
 
Good movie. I'd give it 8/10. Plenty of action. Though had to laugh when one guy fell asleep in the cinema and had to be woken up at the end - LOL :)
 
it is what it is, a predators movie, excellent if you're a predators fan :D

you cant see the movie expecting some amazing plot or a lot of character development, its an action flick about alien beings hunting humans, and it does this very well. :)
 
Just saw it last night on my phone [mp4]. It had a lot of references to the original Predator which I appreciated. I didnt like the dog things or Larry Fishbourne's role but it was OK. Certainly they left it open
