Help Predictive text in Note

So I just updated my Galaxy Note today to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and I like it. But I realised that the predictive text will show me words BUT it will not replace it for me. Before updating it will automatically replace words for me. Now it wouldn't. Anybody know what is going on?

So for example I type "whe" and the word "where" will appear along with some other words like "whether" or "when" but it will not replace it with "where" straight away. I need to click on it whereas last time it will just do it for me without me having to click on it. I find it a little annoying because I usually key in the wrong letters. Like if I key in "feling", it used to help me correct it to "feeling". Now it won't unless I choose it, which makes my typing a lot slower.

Thanks in advance.

I'm on JB 4.1.2 though admittedly it is the SGN2 version. However, I tried 'feling' by both typing each key and by 'Continuous Input' ie swyping with two different results. Swyping does what you want but typing does not. In fact I deliberately type when I know for a fact the word will not be in the dictionary eg Welsh place names!

If you have not already selected it after the update you can do so by Menu key / Settings / Language and Input / Samsung keyboard settings (ie the cog) and tick the 'Continuous input' box.
