Help predictive text words lost?

Hi peeps
When Im typing and u have a die of worden above the qwerty to choose from, all my words have somehow been deleted, even simple words have to be saved. Anyone know where i have to look in the menus to check whats going on or download the engish dictionary... Or check tht english is the dictionary im using. Thanks

Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Keyboard Settings (or similar), you should be able to check the language there.
