Help Prefix Dialling on the S2

eros1976

Lurker
My old Galaxy S had an option where I could add a prefix number to the dialler... in my case, the area code.

My new phone does not have this option as far as I can tell. Is there a way I can make this happen. My S2's a bell canada cell.

Don't know about Canada, but everywhere I've been one always has to dial the area code, e.g. 0479 where I am, when using a mobile phone, even though I'm within that area. So I just store it as part of the contact's number. Would there be any problem with you doing that.

ya, i have my contacts saved with the area code.. just local calling needs area code as well, so I wanted to find a way not to have to dial it everytime i make an outgoing call. My old galaxy would prefix all calls with the area code.
