Help Preinstalled Finance app - hate it!

Is there any way to uninstall the pre-installed finance app, or at least stop it from running every time the phone reboots? It annoys me sooooo very much when I check on my running apps and see it there laughing at me. I've never once used it, so why does it insist on starting itself and running continuously?

Root your phone and load a rom, you can get rid of all bloatware by doing this and G2 rooting / s-off is very simple.

I agree. Not happy about all this stuff automatically starting at boot. I should at least have the option of not running it.

Probably caused all of my phone freak-out problems today too, while running around town, trying to find directions, make phone calls and browse the web. I really didn't need the phone to let me down in a new place when I needed it most. Custom roms, here I come.

I sure hope this solves my problems.

between these two articles, should learn a lot and disable some bloatware... i only went as far as temp root and disabled finance, facebook and a few others..
beware though, rooting will possibly void your warranty.

Maybe that will help. Worked well for me. Crapware is now permanently disabled, but the phone is not permanently rooted so I can still get OS updates normally.
