Help Premium Navigation select Town Centre

[Patthesplat]

Hi on the Car Panel screen how do I select to navigate to a Town of City Centre? In all the other Sat Navs I have used, there is an option to navigate to the town centre, but I can't find that in the HTC Desire Car Panel?

To make matters worse, there are some small villages where when you select the village, there are no streets, and I can't find any way at all of going to that village from the destination setting screens in the Car Panel - it just keeps waiting for you to enter a street name, but as soon as you type anything it says this street does not exist.

TIA for any hints.

When you type the town name in, does it not come up with a list of locations within the town?

Have you tried the Google Navigation?

Use a good paid navigation app like 'Navigon'. There is no problem with put in a town centre

I am using what HTC calls "Premium Navigation". On Google navigation it works fine but I don't want to incur roaming charges just to navigate around.
