Preorder Info

My guess is preorder will be a week or two before from June 4th. Unless some lucky few can preorder early.
 
Best Buy online says they're taking pre orders...but has no links to take them online. Uhmmm...so...they mean that in store they'll do a pre order?

and they're just jumping on the bandwagon online right now?

That's the way it appears. I want to order NOW!
 
More interestingly: will Radio Shack or Best Buy release the phone before the 4th?

Edit: Thanks to RiverOfIce's post in another thread quoting a Best Buy email for answering my question: it looks like they're not releasing until June 4th. I can live with that.
 
I just called two Radio Shacks in my area.

1) The kid had no idea. I don't think he's one of those 'knowledgeable sales people'. He's the kind you try to avoid. lol.
2) The other guy knew exactly what phone I was talking about and the hype, but said he hasn't heard anything about pre-ordering it.

So...it's either Best Buy or Sprint for now. I'd prefer to go through Sprint directly. I already took the AM of June 4th off so I can be there when the doors open.
 
I actully called my local sprint store and there pre order started today all they did was take my name and number and told me to be there on the 4th

RS guy told my the same thing in Michigan no idea what i was talking about then i told them about the offer on they're website the guy was like that online only and i told him it said in store only..... yea after that i went to best buy and dropped 50 on my htc evo

Not only that but only one of the guys I spoke to even knew anything remotely.

One guy was like...uhh...umm...I don't even know the release date. Probably some 16yr old kid making $50/week.

The other guy at least had an idea of how amazing this phone was but also didn't really know much about the release date, etc.

I got my pre-order at BB for June 4th at 12PM (by appointment only at my store). Can't WAIT!
