Help preparing sim

Hi, I just got my second had but as new condition One S, from amazon, but I randomly get "preparing sim" pop up and my call fails.

Any ideas?

Was it a new sim that came with the phone?

Could you try a different one? If not, we can try something else to see if you can get it sorted.

It the sim from my previous phone' but to be honest after a few searches it seems to be a common problem with these phones, I.e signal issues. Shame cause apart from this its great.
