The country is going to implode if things continue at this level of division, especially with a President Elect who enjoys fanning the flames.

"Here’s what’s happening: After a close election, Democrat Roy Cooper defeated Republican incumbent Pat McCrory to win the governorship. So the Republican state legislature decided to call an “emergency” session before Cooper takes office and strip the governor of as many powers as it could........ And they’re barely bothering to pretend that if a Republican governor is elected in four years they won’t just reverse most or all of these changes......... This isn’t just hardball politics. This is a fundamentally anti-democratic approach to government, one that says that when we win, we get to implement our agenda, and when you win, you don’t."

I know traditionally, Presidents were unwilling to intervene in actions taken by states... but seeing that he's decided to break tradition and go after magazines that don't give his businesses glowing reviews, I'd rather he spent his twitter time fulfilling his promise to be President of all of America, and call out North Carolina for the snakes they are!

You should know that Ms Hopkins is a very minor celebrity, who once appeared on the UK version of 'The Apprentice', but now makes a living spouting ludicrously controversial and inflammatory comments via her newspaper column and Twitter account.
I wouldn't say she's 'respected', and the newspaper has now been forced to pay hefty libel damages, and a public apology to a Muslim family she falsely claimed were linked to extremists.
Not really the kind of person a credible politician should be aligning with.

many states (not all) have enacted laws that block this behavior.

so i wonder.. which of the DT states that might make EC votes that want to go against drumpf .. but have bigly state laws that stop them?

i do wish to see the EC .. save us from drumpf
but i think USA is screwed... the orange troll will run amok in DC as POTUS

The east, west, and gulf coasts are brimming with unemployed? Basically anywhere near a big body of water in the US? I find that hard to believe.

I think that map is a result of the fair election policies in the US. Checks and balances and all that stuff built into the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

9/11 was planed way ahead. So it was Clinton. Iran DOES have Uranium (thanks to Obama). What is wrong with abu ghraib? Bush is responsible for Hurricanes? War on terror got even worse with Obama. And fraud with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac .... started with Clinton.
