Help Prevail and Gingerbread

Is the Prevail compatible with 2.3.3? Not sure since the phone will not update anymore and says that it is fully updated with 2.2.2. The phone is rooted, is there a Gingerbread.apk that can be found somewhere? I'm not looking for something modded, just the normal Gingerbread. Doing searches doesn't show much.

Edit: Hmm, not sure I want to install some random file name gingerbread.apk with no other info on it. I can't risk my phone blowing up right now. If there was something verified it might be worth taking a chance.

it wont blow up your phone.. apk's are nothing more then apps. worst case it steals your contact info, location.. etc etc
 
gringerbread.apk is an app, like i said there is no chance for installs going horribly wrong.

as for installing it on mine first, guess you dont read around here too much eh? ;)
 
Yeah, shabby is a real comedian. Someone asked about Gingerbread and so he posted a picture about a Gingerbread cookie, I don't think I can ever stop laughing about that. Absolutely hilarious. [/sarcasim]
 
actually i dont think its so much the picture as it is me posting a random app, and you seemingly convinced that it was a rom. and even tho in two of my posts i try explaining it to you, yet you keep this hostile attitude towards me.

if gingerbread were possible i would have told yall that i was at least working on it.. but seeing as we have no recovery and no way to flash kernels... there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to get gingerbread

Not laughing @ u dude . It's just that 99.99% of us in the rooted section are running his ShabbyMods . Give the guy a break , he busts his ass and puts his work out here for FREE for ALL OF US ! If he post a random link , it's a joke ! :p Get over it and have a great day man . :D
